How should I store my silk sarees?
Fold silk sarees in a soft cotton or muslin cloth, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Refold them every couple of months along different lines so the zari doesn’t crease or crack.
Can I wash handloom and cotton sarees at home?
Yes. Hand wash them separately in cold water with a mild detergent for the first few washes, as natural dyes may bleed a little. Dry them in the shade to keep the colour bright.
How do I care for crepe sarees?
Crepe is low-maintenance. A gentle hand wash or dry clean works well, and a light iron on low heat keeps it looking fresh.
